Scott Baltic shows us Reunion, an amazing geneology app for Macintosh, Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 6:30 pm

Hi everyone,

The Chicago Apple User Group is extremely fortunate to have Scott Baltic as our guest for our program on Wednesday, August 7, 2019. Scott is friend of the group, and he will be showing us the program Reunion.

What is Reunion? From their website:
Reunion helps you to document, store, and display information about your family — your ancestors, descendants, cousins, etc. It records names, dates, places, facts, plenty of notes, sources of information, pictures, sounds, and videos. It shows family relationships in an elegant, graphic form — people and families are linked in an easy-to-understand fashion.

What are some things you can do with Reunion?
Reunion is the flagship family tree app for the Mac and iOS. If you’ve always wanted to investigate your family tree, Reunion for Mac is your solution!

1. Reunion allows you to enter any kind of data about your family you can imagine. You’ll be able to track it, connect it, and search for it!

2. Add photos, videos and more. If you have photos or videos you’d like to add to a file, that’s no problem! Reunion allows you to do it!

3. Share your information on the web, or keep it private on your Macintosh, your choice.

4. Search the web for records. Start with any person, and Reunion will make it easy to search genealogy resources, such as FamilyLike, FamilySearch, Ancestry.com, and more.

5. Identify relationships. Reunion tells you–at a glance–how people are related. Find the relationship between any two people in your records, and then Reunion will allow you to create a chart showing the connections between those two people.

6. Birthday and other anniversary reminders make it easy to always remember important dates for those you care about!
